Dr. Lars Björn Jönsson

Dr. Jönsson grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where his father — a general dentist — introduced him to the satisfaction of helping patients through dental care. He earned his undergraduate degree in Medical Biology at the University of Utah before attending the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, graduating in 2001 with high honors and membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Tau Kappa Omega dental honor societies.
After a period in general dentistry in San Francisco, Dr. Jönsson pursued specialty training in endodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning his MS in Oral Biology in 2005. He subsequently completed a fellowship in implant dentistry at Loma Linda University (2008–2010) and received training in IV sedation, broadening his ability to serve complex cases and anxious patients.
